Mindset

I am going to guess most to all of you have no clue who I am. I am just your average teenager who loves to live in the moment and create new memories. Although that has been hard with Corona currently, I still manage to find things to make memories of. Whether it is making cookies with my mom or occasionally hanging out with a friend. I still maintain the same mindset I had pre-Covid or even possibly an even better one. The one main that will be kept with me from during this Covid period will be the idea that everything can change in one day alone and if you spent that day before sulking around grumpy and sad, you have wasted your possible last best day. We never know what the next day is going to bring or even if there is going to be a next day, which should just bring you a bigger incentive to get out of your comfort-zone, do something you usually wouldn't do, ask that person out, apply for that job, because without doing so you will never know the outcome. And so what if you get rejected or denied, that should feed your energy to do your next great thing. Everyone was placed on this Earth to do something amazing. Everyone was destined for something great and without failure, people wouldn't have the drive to continue in life. What would have happened if Thomas Edison had given up after his first or second attempt on the light bulb? Matter of fact, his teachers thought he was too stupid to learn and he was fired from his first two jobs for lack of motivation. He didn't let this negativity stop him from creating not only a household items but an item that U.S consumers spend 5.5 million dollars on daily. You might not want to listen to a teenager, and I understand that. I am not forcing you into changing your lifestyle because I understand how big of a leap that can be and it can be stressful. Although if you are interested, I wrote another story about what I used to be successful in doing so. So I'll leave you with this, when given a choice to proceed or give up, what do you tend to do? Why?
